TEARS AND LAUGHTER
On the 4th September this year my grandmother Stefanija died. She's 84. I loved her a lot. She loved me too. She died piecefully in her sleep. That's the best...I would love to die that way. She died at about 10.00 p.m. I could not sleep that night. So many memories appeard in my mind... She was burried two days later. It's nice, simple...like all her life. She is in heaven. I know it. Hopefully God will give her a small garden to take care of. She had a beautiful garden next to her house.
In my Croatia people usually do not write epitaphs on graves. Put it's common all over the world. Some are a little bit weird, funny... Here is one I found on the internet.
A lawyer's epitaph in England:
Sir John StrangeHere lies an honest lawyer,And that is Strange
If carefully read, it is quite lovely...You know, an honest lawyer....and his surname.
Let me finish today's entry with some laughter. In the United States of America some rather strange laws still exist...I believe they are not put into practise...They are remains from the past...But I wonder why authorities do not declare them not valid... Here are some rather funny example of laws, I found at http://www.crazylaws.com/
1) You cannot chain your alligator to a fire hydrant. (Alabama)
2) You may not have an ice cream cone in your back pocket at any time. (Alabama)
3) Donkeys cannot sleep in bathtubs. (Arizona)
4) Nobody is allowed to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool. (Baldwin Park, California)
5) You are not allowed to walk across a street on your hands. (Connecticut)
I could go on and on...But I'll go now. See you all tomorrow. Take care.
